How to breach in a Nitro RC agent Part 10: Tuning On YouTube.
Check out Squirrels forum! forums.thetoyz.com This vid will show you how to tune your nitro engine on the LSN, HSN, MSN and other methods. Not sure if it is a idle or lean issue? We will help you! This video will show you the theory on how to turn. The counter clock wise (CCW) and clock wise (CW) movements of the hsn (high speed needle) and low speed needle (LSN) and how they affect the kits speed and power over all. This will show you the theory of fine tuning either from the amount of smoke out of the pipe to increased speed an the amount of power off the starting line. The next video will show you the actual tuning of the engines over theory. This video is on my break in method. I use half of the new school break in method and half of the traxxas. My method goes like this tank 1: 1/4 throttle, leaned to 200 degrees, no full brakes and really no time limits on the throttle ever to keep it moving like the new school method. Tank 2 and 3 are half throttle tanks. Same as above. You can tune the engine a little more if you would like. Dont fully tune though as you want to keep it a little bit rich. Tanks 4 and 5 are full throttle. Again with the above, tune a little more if you want. I have mine so that it is in ball part by the time that the last tank is done. Keep the truck moving like the new school method. This vid is on the new school break in method. The nice part about this method is that heat is good and it is the focus of the break in. Once you achieve a constant ...
